Divergent-mode life

I like to think I am living my life in divergent mode. There’s too much to do, so you cannot just sit in one chair for the rest of your life, right?

Blog

I’m not trying to become a one-subject expert, I truly believe I can excel in many aspects, topics, and subjects. So, I am focused on my goals and living one day at the time.

I hope you join me in this journey!

Here is a list of my last posts to get started:

Topics I cover, more or less

In this blog, I often talk about anything, but my four main areas are these: Entrepreneurship, Education / Teaching, Software Development and Personal / Professional Development.

Entrepreneurship: Where Everything Belongs

I love to be an entrepreneur, even though, trying to become one I lose a lot of money and passed a long time feeling desperation for no having enough to even eat, now, the story is not too different, but much happier. Every other aspect of my life somehow ends up here. My cooking skills made me a business. Same with my software development skills, teaching, music, and we can keep going.

Education and Teaching: My Lifelong Journey

I am an elementary school teacher, I teach Spanish, math, social studies and science to primary school kids. Here I share my journey too, hopefully it helps teachers with similar challenges. On top of that, I teach and tutor on English and technology. Furthermore, I have an institute: East Cost Institute, which is going to be the top 1 in the next 10 years in the Dominican Republic.

Software Development

The one thing that changed my life forever, the main activity of my first profitable business, the thing that gave me a country wide top 3 award of the initiative CTS of corps of peace. That’s it.

Personal and Professional Development: a Recent Discovery

As a teacher, in this country, you hear almost nobody talk about personal nor professional growth, so for many years I was mostly a silent quitter in my day job. Now I not only a passionate about self growth, but a life changer for others. I often sit down with my colleagues and friends just to talk about growing.
